Dr. HARRIGAN's Story

Dr. Tim Harrigan, Chiropractic Physician is a chiropractor who loves educating and coaching others in all areas of health, wellness, lifestyle, whole food nutrition, nutritional supplementation, exercise and ergonomics.

As a husband and father, I’m often amazed by the simple joys in life. The simple moments of watching my children play, their laughter or relaxing with my loving wife. These are the moments I want to relive again and again. I look forward to the future, seeing my children grow up and have children of their own. I can already hear the laughter of my grandchildren. But the richness of these experiences will diminish if my health slips away.

I believe you want to be healthy. You want to enjoy special moments with loved ones. The challenge you face is “how” to achieve these goals. With all the information you face daily, you struggle with clearly defining health and how to achieve it. I understand this struggle. It is a great part of why it’s my life’s work to help families experience true health and understand what it means to be well and live well. I want you to enjoy the richness of life with those you love for years to come.

I graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in the Life Sciences and received a doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker Chiropractic College in Dallas. I’ve studied clinical nutrition extensively and have learned numerous techniques. I feel blessed to have the ability to help patients feel as comfortable as possible while improving the function of their body. I believe in caring for and helping people. I look forward to meeting you and your family in person. I welcome the opportunity to be of service to you.

Meet Kirsten

As a Tucson native I have always enjoyed living in the Sonoran Desert. My favorite aspects include the vast wildlife, the vibrant sunsets, the beautiful mountain ranges and the thunderstorms during monsoons season. Attending the University of Arizona was always a dream of mine. And in 2011 I obtained with my Bachelors of Science in Marketing from Eller Business School at The University of Arizona.
Shortly after, I discovered my passion for fitness which included boxing and CrossFit. I obtained my CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certificate and became an instructor at Boxing Inc. for 5 years. What I loved the most about CrossFit was its ability to incorporate functional movements for any age and skill level. A workout could easily be scaled with weight or movements depending on the athlete’s ability. I enjoyed coaching and helping others discover their strengths and achieve their goals.

Over the course of 5 years, I worked as a marketing coordinator for one of the top real estate teams in Arizona and across the country. I was responsible for social media management, client appreciation events, and maintaining business relations. I also had the privilege to perform charity outreach in the Tucson community.

After having my son Jacob in 2018, I decided to become a stay-at-home mother. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The moment I became pregnant I became more aware of the ingredients contained in food and day to day products. I realized that the products I was using and food I was consuming not only affected me, but my son. When Jacob was 3 months old, we became patients of Dr. Harrigan. In addition to receiving adjustments, he taught me about the power of plant-based enzymes and other formulas that changed my life! It was at that point I KNEW I had to make it a mission to get my family healthy.
Shortly after my son turned two, our life took a turn. My son was diagnosed with a medulloblastoma brain tumor. It was located at the base of his skull wrapped around his spinal cord. Over the course of 7 months, he underwent 2 major brain surgeries and 6 rounds of chemotherapy. After the first surgery our son had to regain motor function; he had to relearn how to crawl, walk, and talk. My fiancé K and I had never felt so helpless and scared. The numerous procedures and hospital COVID policies of “one parent at bedside” really tested our family. We were surrounded by support of family, friends, and strangers. Our faith and relationships only strengthened. This experience taught our family so much about life and what really matters, like prioritizing family.

8 Months post treatment and our son is doing wonderful. His resilience continues to prevail as he improves each day. My fiancé K and myself have made it our mission to help other families who are also battling childhood illnesses. Year to date, we have raised over $70,000 for a family hardship fund at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. This fund will help families focus on their child without the worries of finances.

We are grateful we had the opportunity to work with Dr. Harrigan and a few other naturopaths during our son’s battle. They helped ensure that our son received the best nutrition and formulas (one being CBD fluid) to help minimize side effects and promote healing / recovery. Oncologists were blown away with Jacob’s recovery and we know our knowledge of health / wellness were responsible for this.
I am honored to have this opportunity to work with Dr. Tim Harrigan and the Synergy Wellness team. I look forward to sharing my passion of health with others and helping patients improve their wellbeing.

My family first moved to Southern Arizona when I was 8 years old. I was blessed to attend the University of Arizona where I met my husband, Bruce, who was in Navy ROTC at the time. Although we do not have children of our own, I have a heart for kids and cherish any time I am able to spend with our nieces and nephews (there are 30 years between oldest and youngest) and now their children as well! Teaching Sunday School and volunteering to serve foster kids are other ways I have been able to connect with children. Other things that bring me joy include spending time with family and friends, bowling, UofA sports (go Cats!), and my best efforts at growing vegetables in the desert climate.

As the Navy moved us from one beautiful seaside place to the next, I was able to work in retail, “transferring” right along with Bruce. After spending over 20 years serving in the US Navy, we were able to return to Tucson so Bruce could end his Naval career by teaching and leading UofA ROTC students at the same unit he graduated and commissioned from…we came full circle! I did not expect to ever live in Tucson again, but I am so glad we do as rejoining the community here allowed us to find Synergy Wellness. With the help, knowledge, and support of Dr. Harrigan and the Synergy Wellness Team, we are learning so much and have embraced a healthy lifestyle. Through chiropractic care, supplements, detox/purification programs, changes in thinking, diet & exercise, I have experienced a 180 degree turnaround in my overall health and wellbeing!

I am truly thankful to be a part of the team here at Synergy Wellness. I look forward to meeting you and hope to help and support you in the ways in which I have been helped!

Meet Sherry

I was born and raised in Tucson where I am now raising my two boys! In 2019, I decided to go back to school for my business management degree, and will be graduating this Spring from Grand Canyon University! My family has been supportive and patient through this journey, and I cannot wait to have more free time with them.
When I am not catching up on assignments, I try to spend as much time with my husband and kids by enjoying the simple things. We love trying new restaurants, making new recipes at home, watching movies, working out, and taking as many road trips to the beach as possible!

I became a patient of Dr. Harrigan in 2023 after years of trying to figure things out on my own. Although I purchased supplements, and watched his videos for years, I realized that healing is much more complex, and having someone direct me was essential if I wanted to feel better. It is such a blessing to be part of a team that truly cares about the health and well-being of others. I look forward to continue healing, growing, and learning with all of you!
